Brian Wood, LPC, ASAT

Presenter

Brian is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, and an Associate Sexual Addiction Therapist, and is an experienced addictions and trauma therapist. He entered the mental health counseling field after years of pastoral ministry and non-profit leadership. His vocational history include extensive experience in marriage enrichment and interventions, as well as working with people to overcome addictions. Brian believes that our past experiences have brought us to the place we are but they do not have to define our future. He believes that change is hard but it is not only possible, but likely, when we get help to take the next step forward. Brian believes in a holistic approach to the growth process, focusing on the mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical aspects of a person. In his free time, Brian enjoys adventuring outdoors with his wife, Kimberly and traveling to see their grandkids.

Eric Connor, LCPC, CSAT, CMAT

He is a frequent speaker on the topics of shame, codependency and addiction. Despite his technical focus, Eric still believes that the relationship between therapist and client is of the utmost importance for effective counseling. He understands that love, trust and compassion are absolute prerequisites before any true transformation can be accomplished. Eric considers it a privilege to be part of this process.
